The International Business Brokers Association (“IBBA”) is the largest international non-profit association operating for the benefit of all people, companies and organizations engaged in various fields or aspects of the sale/purchase of a business or of an M&A transaction.

The IBBA was founded in 1983 and forms the professional association of business brokers providing education, conferences, professional certification and an international communication network.

 IBBA awards the prestigious designation “Certified Business Intermediary (CBI)” to members who demonstrate professional excellence through their broker experience and education, and pass a comprehensive examination.

The number of IBBA members worldwide currently exceeds 1,500.
